According to the Fuqing Overseas Chinese High School Alumni Association in Japan, the association held its leadership transition election on the evening of October 30 at the renowned Chinese restaurant Fuqing Cuisine in Tokyo.Through voting by the council members, He Jian was elected as the new president, and Weng Chenglong and Huang Zhengjian were elected as vice presidents。

The newly elected president, He Jian, stated that since its establishment, the Fuqing Overseas Chinese High School Alumni Association in Japan has achieved significant results through the continuous efforts of the council members and the active cooperation of the alumni, despite facing many challenges.He highlighted that during the outbreak of the pandemic, the association responded swiftly by donating masks and anti-epidemic supplies to their alma mater and hometown, making positive contributions to both society and their school, which received high praise from their hometown and alma mater。
He Jian emphasized that the purpose of the alumni association is to serve the interests of alumni, engage in practical initiatives, provide public welfare services, and foster exchanges between the alumni association and the alma mater.The new council will adhere to the principles of unity, progress, mutual assistance, and reciprocity, striving to continue serving as a bridge and bond to provide satisfactory services to alumni and make even greater contributions。
