On January 24, The Asahi Shimbun reported on lighting tests conducted at Manpukuji Temple in Uji, Kyoto, drawing attention from both Chinese and Japanese societies. As the Lunar New Year approaches, the thousand-year-old Obaku Manpukuji Temple in Kyoto, a symbol of Sino-Japanese cultural exchange, lit up Chinese lantern installations featuring the themes of "Peace" and "Prayer," adding a festive atmosphere。
Recently, Chen Xi, Chairman of the Japanese Huangbo Cultural Promotion Association and Honorary President of the Fuqing Chamber of Commerce in Japan, along with Wu Qilong, President of the Japan Fujian Economic and Cultural Promotion Association, Mr. Naito Kaorin, and Deputy Speaker of the Religious Council Fuki, conducted on-site measurements and preparations in advance.On the day of the lighting tests, it was rainy and cold.
